Oman's naql platform to include vehicle tracking
The electronic transport services platform 'naql' will include a tracking system for vehicles to ensure the safety of the driver and the vehicle.
This was revealed by the Ministry of Transport of Communication.
"In the process of building the road transport database by registering in the platform and extracting the operating cards, the technical work will be started in the following phases which will include activating the service of tracking the movement of vehicles.” - Ministry of Transport of Communication
Officials added that it will also include activating vehicles routes for the institutions and linking the platform with the truck weights stations.
